An adult is a human or other animal that has reached the full growth.The biological meaning of the term is an animal reaching sexual maturity, which makes it capable of reproduction. The term "adult" is often used in the context of humans to mean social and legal concepts. An adult who is legally mature, in contrast to "minors" or non-adults can be defined as someone over the age of majority and is thus considered to be independent, responsible and independent. Also, they can be described as a "major". The typical age of attaining legal adulthood is 18, although definition may vary by laws, countries and the level of development in psychological terms.

By the time we reach early adulthood (20 to early 40s), our physical maturation is completed, though the size and weight of our bodies may increase slightly. When we are young our physical capabilities are at their highest which includes the strength of our muscles, our reaction speed sensors, as well as heart function.
